The boring but essential bit

By making a booking with us you are deemed to have accepted our Ts & Cs. It is in your own interest to read them in full.

Bookings and Payments

Anyone making a booking must be 18 or over and be one of the guests staying on site. This individual is responsible for ensuring that all persons within their group are made aware of these Ts & Cs. As an adult only site, the minimum age of any guest is restricted to 16.

A non-refundable deposit of £5 per pitch per night is required to secure your reservation. Our preferred method of payment is via bank transfer (BACS), details will be provided at the time of booking. The outstanding balance must be paid in full, no later than 1 week prior to your arrival. Any initial enquiries not confirmed via payment of the deposit within 7 days will be deemed null and void and your pitch may be resold. Any enquiries within 7 days of your arrival date must be paid in full. Bookings at short notice may be paid in cash on arrival by prior agreement.

Behaviour and Noise

Any guest whose behaviour is unacceptable to ourselves, other guests and neighbours will be asked to leave immediately without refund.

For the enjoyment of everyone on site, our neighbours and to conform with the terms of our certification, noise must be kept to a minimum level before 7.00am and after 10:30pm. Please bear in mind that sound carries further at night. An initial reminder to respect this condition will be made if necessary. Failure to comply will result in your whole party being asked to leave immediately without refund.

Fires /BBQs

We are happy to permit the use of fire pits and /or BBQs, provided they are raised off the ground. Large tiles are available on request, to place underneath and prevent scorching of the ground.

Additional Cars and Day Visitors

At busy times, it is not always possible to permit the parking of additional vehicles on site. Please check with us first if you require the use of more than one vehicle.

Day visitors (aged 16+) are welcome, but are bound by all conditions. As above, it may not be possible at busy times to permit them bringing a vehicle on site. Once again, please check with us first.

Dogs

We welcome dogs on site, provided they are kept under control and are not allowed to roam or interfere with the enjoyment of other guests. They must be exercised off site and there are many adjacent walks which can be used for this purpose. Any accidental mess must be cleaned up immediately. We reserve the right to request dogs are kept on a lead at all times if they become a nuisance to other guests.

Arrivals and Departures

Arrivals are not permitted before 12 noon, unless by prior agreement. This gives us time to ensure the site is clean and tidy prior to the arrival of incoming guests.

Pitches should be vacated by 11:00am on the day of departure. Extensions by agreement are permitted, provided the pitch is not required for use by the next occupant on the same day. All rubbish must be properly and safely disposed of in the recycling bins available at the site entrance.

Pitches

In the interests of fire safety, your main accommodation unit should be pitched central to the pitch number marker. This ensures a minimum 6-meter gap is maintained between adjacent primary units. The pitches are spaced so as to ensure a minimum distance of 3 meters is also maintained between neighbouring awnings, gazebos and any vehicles. Only one sleeping unit is permitted per pitch. An exception is made for small 2-person pup tents, where a maximum of 2 units per pitch are permitted. Where an awning is used for sleeping purposes, this counts as one unit when attached to a caravan or motorhome.
